It briefly covers how current symmetric and asymmetric encryption works, then explains how quantum algorithms like Shor's and Grover's undermine RSA, ECC, and weaken commonly used symmetric schemes.

The session examines real-world risks such as Harvest Now, Decrypt Later and Trust Now, Forge Later, helping attendees understand which systems and data are most at risk based on longevity and impact. It also introduces NIST's post-quantum standards and their implications for PKI, TLS, and enterprise environments.
